[ossig] New Zealand Govt adopts Plone as standard guideline for websites



State Services Commission Deputy Director for ICT Laurence Millar said
today that the SSC was releasing to other government agencies the open
source code for a government web guidelines compliant content management
system (CMS) based on Plone.

One of the strengths of Plone is that it complies (or exceeds) W3C-AA
and and US govt Section508 accessibility requirements.

So if accessibility to the blind and disabled is important, but you do
not have the technical knowledge deploying; developing Plone websites
without deviating too much from the CSS/XHTML UI will allow you to do so
quickly.
