We are pleased to inform that Center of the International Cooperation for Computerization, Japan and MIMOS Berhad, Malaysia will jointly hold the 7th Asia Open Source Software (Asia OSS) Symposium on March 7, 2006 at the Nikko Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. This symposium will have numerous International speakers and will be participated by representatives of the OSS community for 21 economies.

The objectives of this symposium are:
1)To update and share activities/developments related to OSS in each economy
2)To discuss specific / concrete topics which are common amongst the participating economies, including the business point of view
3)To build a real, co-operative community and decide the action plans, based on each economy's status and needs.
