 $ldd /usr/bin/top 
        linux-gate.so.1 =>  (0xffffe000)
        libproc-3.2.5.so => /lib/libproc-3.2.5.so (0xb7ede000)
        libncurses.so.5 => /lib/libncurses.so.5 (0xb7e99000)
        libc.so.6 => /lib/tls/libc.so.6 (0xb7d7e000)
        libgpm.so.1 => /lib/libgpm.so.1 (0x4da58000)
        /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0xb7f0f000)

$ qfile /lib/libncurses.so.5
sys-libs/ncurses (/lib/libncurses.so.5)
